94.1% of Knitted T-shirts Passed Spot Check in Xi’an

Recently, Xi'an Quality and Technical supervision Bureau disclosed a quality supervision report on knitted T-shirts in the second quarter of 2014. This report is done on the basis of spot check result.
There were 34 samples for inspection. After strict examination, the percentage of pass turned out to be 94.1%. In other words, there were 32 samples that are found to be qualified.
It is known that samples were collected from 17 enterprises of Xi'an. Xi'an Fiber Textile Supervision and Inspection Center took in charge of this examination. This time, the products were required to go through the following six inspection items: fiber content, PH value as well as colorfastness when facing dry friction, water, alkali perspiration and acid perspiration.
With the development of international economic integration, manufacturers of knitted garments should pay more attentions on both quality and design. T-shirts made of knitted fabrics are featured with personality, relaxation, simplicity and freedom. That is why they win great popularities in the masses.
T-shirts are often made of cotton, polyester and jersey yarns. T-shirts made from cotton knitting fabrics were also included in the samples . In the inspection,a T-shirt of Zuomeng is found to be unqualified. This product is marked with WOODMAX&ESSENCE while the fiber content of it did not conform to related regulations.
