Nylstar to Develop New Cosmetotextile Brand

Nylstar’s Meryl Hyaluronan, described as an anti-aging fibre, will be used to develop a new brand of cosmetotextile products. The garments’ properties will include firming and moisturising benefits.
Using a form of advanced nanotechnology, Meryl Hyaluronan contains molecules of wrinkle reducing hyaluronic acid. Nanoparticles of hyaluronic acid are inserted into the yarn during the spinning process, making the cosmetic effects of Meryl Hyaluronan permanent in the fabrics.
The Yaluronica brand is said to mark a new direction for the cosmetotextile sector. “The new product line guarantees instant slimming results thanks to compression and cosmetic effects because of the revolutionary fibre Meryl Hyaluronan,” Nylstar said.
The Yaluronica product line will be consist of eight products which, when they contact the wearer’s skin, will begin the cosmetic action. Meryl Hyaluronan, the anti-ageing fibre produced by Nylstar, has been selected as the fibre to develop GT Calze’s new and exclusive Yaluronica cosmetotextile product line.
The new product line was showcased during Cosmoprof Bologna 2014. The launch is expected to mark a new direction for the cosmetotextile segment.
